We share our space with a host of animals both big and small. Through careful management of the environment, we are encouraging the return of many endemic species. The reserve has a wealth of bird-life and bio-diversity, offering guests the opportunity to experience the varied yet specialised eco-systems of the Little Karoo. Running an extensive solar system, our sustainable approach ensures that we support local and impact global. African Game Lodge is a private conservation area outside Montagu in the Little Karoo, Western Cape dedicated to preserving the rich biodiversity of the area. If you save just a few kilos of space in your suitcase and bring supplies for area schools or medical clinics in need, you’ll make a priceless impact in the lives of our local children and families. Our giraffes are doing good and adapted very well to the area! They are enjoying the kilometers of Akasia that runs through the reserve. We also built giraffe feeders to help their Diet in the dry months.
