Rainbow Glen guest farm is located conveniently close to the Cogmanskloof hiking trails and Rock Climbing Crags and has a splendid view of Kanonkop from all of the cottages. Additionally, each cottage has a fully equipped kitchenette and all linen is provided, including towels. There is also a larger guest apartment with its own lounge (including satellite TV), dining area and separate kitchen. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool on hot summer days as well as a spacious lawn where families can play games or simply relax and enjoy the mountain view. We cater for groups as well as individuals and families. Our self catering units can sleep up to 28 people in total and our location is also ideal for events such as birthday celebrations and affordable weddings. We are also pet friendly and allow guests to bring along well behaved pets. Montagu is located on Route 62 the longest wine route in the world. Historically the Montagu area was mainly known for its fine Muskadel fortified wines, but today the choice has expanded to also include Chardonnay, Colombards, Merlot and other modern cultivars. We are just a short stroll to the village where there are a number of farmstalls, coffee shops and restaurants and the not to be missed Saturday morning village market. The setting is magnificent and the owners (David and Tara) were super helpful and really did everything in their power to ensure the event went smoothly. All the guests were very impressed with the venue, the chalets, catering, and general friendliness and relaxing atmosphere. Comfy double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, well equipped kitchenette, braai area. As well as Wacky Wine Weekend and other festivals and sporting events in the area including the Montagu Mountain Mania, Double Century, Cape Epic. Guests can enjoy the pool on hot summer days as well as a spacious lawn where families can play games or simply relax and enjoy the mountain view. Please note that all our rooms have a non-smoking policy, you are welcome to smoke outside.
