Rietvlei is a 600 hectare privately owned working wine, fruit & guest farm with self catering accommodation. The Farm is situated in the heart of the little Karoo & only 200km from Cape Town. Here you can relax, experience nature, farm & bird life, mountain bike tracks and much more. What to expect at Rietvlei: Unwind in the freshness of unpolluted air, in the amazing beauty of our sunsets. in the serenity of uncomplicated rural life, where the climate is friendly, most of the year round. We speak Afrikaans, English, will understand most of your Dutch and Flemish, may nod our heads sometimes if you speak German. or just smile if we do not understand a word. but you will still feel most welcome. Let your next week-end or holiday be, a never-to-be-forgotten one, near Montagu, in the Little Karoo. We have camping cots, highchairs, baby baths & step-ups available. Please let us know well in advance if you will be needing any of these items, so that we can reserve them for you! Delicious breakfast voucher at one of the restaurants/ coffee shops in town or breakfast basket delivered to your door ! As we do not offer a sit-down breakfast at our facility. At R 100 per adult & R 50 per child we prepare a basket with fruit, yogurt, muesli, juice, bread, cheese, cold meats, coffee, tea, sugar and the rest is a surprise. Set on a fruit farm in the little karoo, Rietvlei is the ideal venue for celebrating your child’s birthday. Bring a group of friends and stay over for the weekend or just come for the day.
